Q: What does the Boys and Girls Club aim to do?
A: "To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens" (Our Mission).
Q: What is considered an at risk child?
A. "America's kids are in crisis. Our nation's state of poor academic performance, obesity, drug use, and youth-related violence are cause for alarm and nation action. A key component of the solution is out-of-school time. Yet everyday, 15 million kids (1 in 4) leave school with no place to go, putting them at risk of being unsupervised, unguarded, and unsafe" (McCloskey).

All from Nashville, TN, we met in and an English class which led to the creation of our organization.
